I ordered the following flavors, Groovy Greek, Cajun Sprinkle (of course, extra spicy), and Mango Habanero. I ran a poll on twitter and the overwhelming majority suggested I order Mango Habanero so I did and the review I promised will be in this post.
Now we come to the final test for this review to see if Chef Dil’s Punjabi Masala will find a permanent spot in our spice cabinet. I will see how Chef Dil’s will work for chicken wings.
My breakdown of Ruben’s hot sauce is this, it is an emulsified sauce that is smooth and does not have vinegar as an ingredient. If you like sauces that are not vinegar-based, give Ruben’s a shot. The heat level was much spicier than I expected. The combination of Chile de Arbol and Cayenne peppers really give Rueben’s a unique kick.
Poppa Earle’s is good and I like it, but I wanted to put it to the ultimate test. Would it be able to hold up to being the base for a rub for ribs? I love making ribs and I love making custom rubs. So I started my rub off with Poppa Earle’s Louisiana Cajun Seasoning
