The Most Read Snack and Sauce Reviews of 2020

The Most Read Snack and Sauce Reviews of 2020 are finally here!

Wow, 2020, what a year! Unfortunately, we all suffered in 2020 either from the inconvenience of the pandemic, post-election uncertainty, having our way of life changed for almost a year, murder hornets, and many families (including ours) experiencing unexpected losses.

But 2020 wasn’t all bad, this year we started Snack and Sauce to review Small Business, family, and individual owned food products and this post features the Six most-read Snack and Sauce reviews of 2020. So far it has been a great journey and we have met a lot of great people. All of these products below are made by a family, individual, or small business. And if you are new to Snack and Sauce, this list will also familiarize you with the type of food products we review.

So let’s get to it, and congratulations to all of the makers who made the list!

B.T. Leigh’s Somethin to Beef About beef rub: Wow, yeah, get this award-winning rub actually, get the pack on their site that has all the rubs in it. B.T. Leigh’s out of Bowling Green, KY is making waves in the BBQ world, check out their award-winning sauces too. You can thank me later. Look for B.T. Leigh’s sauce reviews coming in 2021.

Far Out Foodz seasonings: I have to tell you a secret, I was not happy with the post, the issue was, I tried too many of their seasonings too close together and they were all outstanding. I honestly couldn’t concentrate on which seasoning to focus on. The good news is I have collected my thoughts and am writing more about Far Out Foodz for release in 2021 and it will be more coherent and feature reviews focusing more on the individual seasonings. On the other hand, Mrs. Sauce and I have not noticed any negatives concerning any Far Out Foodz seasonings we have tried so far so you can try any of them with confidence.

Poppa Earle’s Louisiana Cajun Seasoning: Lots of flavors and less salt than the other major brands. Poppa Earles is great in and on all the Louisiana classics like Gumbo and Jambalaya but is also good enough to just cover your chicken in it and bake of grill it for that great Louisiana flavor. You can purchase Poppa Earle’s here.

Number Three most read review
Dil’s Punjabi Masala seasoning: It was truly a shock to see how many people read this post. I had no Idea an Indian spice review made by a local Baltimore Chef would be so popular. Follow Dils on Instagram and check out their site for recipes. There is no heat in this seasoning, it is just all flavor. It is also salt-free so you can control how much salt that goes into your recipe.

Ruben’s Hot Sauce review: Another local Baltimore made product, this time it’s a hot sauce that is amazing on Mexican food and french fries in our opinion. This is a different emulsified sauce that just hits different in a good way. There is also a unique spice flavor profile I enjoyed.

Drumroll please, and the Number One most read review on Snack and Sauce for 2020 is Claude’s BBQ Private Stock hot sauce:

Not only was Claude’s the very first review on Snack and Sauce, but it was also the most read, and not only because it was up the longest, but this review also keeps consistently attracting new readers week after week.

Claude’s hot sauce is as unique as it is hard to get, check out our review to see how to get yours. In my opinion, if this sauce was widely available, it would replace the red hot sauce from Louisiana that you see in most restaurants. Claude’s has a uniquely delicious flavor and he knocked it out of the park with this hot sauce and you should try it.

Thank you so much for reading this post and your interest in our reviews! We hope you and yours have a wonderful holiday season, a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year.
