What is Snack and Sauce?
Snack and Sauce is a project started by a husband and wife team (Keith and Susie or Mr. Snack and Mrs. Sauce) who love to learn about, discuss, make content about, and experience anything and everything related to food, cooking, and restaurants.
How do you choose what products to review?
We will review food-related products (mainly sauces, seasonings, hot sauces, and other food products) that are produced by an individual, family or small business, a start-up, or farm. These products must be offered available for purchase to the public in at least the 48 contiguous United States. If we feel our website visitors and social media followers will find value in a particular product, we will review it. If you have suggestions for us we would love to answer them. Why aren’t there any negative reviews on Snack and Sauce?
Sometimes we mention an atrocious experience on our social media, so follow us for all the action. However, we try to practice the “if you can’t say anything nice, don’t say it at all” advice that we all received as kids. In short, we review mostly products that are owned by individuals and families. In this time, restaurants and small businesses are struggling and we would prefer not to throw shade on a small business that may be hurting. Besides, taste is subjective, you may not like something we enjoy and vice versa. However, with that being said, if there is something that is so egregious that we feel we should warn others (and it does happen) we will post it.
Can I send you some of my products to review or send you a gift card to try my restaurant to review?
We usually purchase all the items we review without the knowledge of the maker that it will be reviewed. We feel it is a fair way to review products and be 100% honest with our visitors. If you want to send us something to review, please see the question below.
